Welcome to the ninth 2009 edition of the Canadian Home Educators Blog Carnival!

Heather, in New Brunswick, says O Canada...Thy History is Confused as she shares some interesting tidbits of information she recently learned while researching the history of our national anthem.

Karine, administratice for AQED, the Quebec Association for Home-based Education, says "Come and join us for the 10th QAHBE’s Homeschooling Symposium! It will be held on April 25th 2009, from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, at Collège Bois-de-Boulogne in Montreal (Quebec). This year’s theme is « The famous homeschoolers ». 30 speakers will inspire everyone from beginning homeschoolers to those who have been doing it for years. It will be an intensive day of learning about education, through a variety of workshops offered by authors, educators, specialists and parents with many years of homeschooling experience. That's the end of this week's trip across Canada visiting with home educating families along the way. Thanks to those of you that invited us to visit and thanks to those of you that came along for the trip.

If all goes well the next edition will be posted next Monday, March 9th, but the deadline for submissions is Friday, March 6th. Hope to hear from you all before then!
