Welcome to the fifth edition of the Canadian Home Educators Blog Carnival!

Before we start this trip I have an announcement to make. Tonia, in Quebec, was the winner of the random draw of last month's participants. I will be sending her a small envelope of surprises.

If anyone would like to help with prizes for future months, please let me know. You would not have to send the prizes to me. I would put the prize donator in contact with the prize winner.

Now, let's get on with this week's trip.

Tonia, in Quebec, reminds us to make sure we are Enjoying Life instead of just getting caught up in the busyness.

A new comer to the carnival, Shannon, in Ontario, tells us about her families adventures with Cursive Writing and how her thoughts on learning cursive have changed.

Molytail, in Alberta, excitedly tells us "And then there were two.." as she lays out the reasons and plans for bringing their son home to school.

Rosina, in British Columbia invites us to check out Our Valentine Tree

On her nature blog, Rosina reminds us about The Great Backyard Bird Count 2009, which is scheduled for February 13.

That's the end of this week's trip across Canada visiting with home educating families along the way. Thanks to those of you that invited us to visit and thanks to those of you that came along for the trip.

If all goes well the next edition will be posted next Monday, February 9th, but the deadline for submission is Friday, February 6th. Hope to hear from you all before then!
