Edition 06 2009

Welcome to the sixth edition of the Canadian Home Educators Blog Carnival!

Check out my blog, based in Newfoundland and Labrador, where I tell you about the Financial Fitness Challenge, "an educational program designed to enrich the financial literacy of Canadian students".

Heather, in Ontario, tells us about the wrap up activity of their Stock Market unit where their children had to decide to Buy, Sell, Wait.

Lori, in Alberta, tells us about Introducing the Planned Spontinaity Box.

Miranda, in British Columbia, makes some great points as she makes the claim "I have no advice" about the teaching of reading.

Rosina, in British Columbia, tells us about A Very Special Bakery Tour that doubled as a surprise birthday party for her son.

That's the end of this week's trip across Canada visiting with home educating families along the way. Thanks to those of you that invited us to visit and thanks to those of you that came along for the trip.

If all goes well the next edition will be posted next Monday, February 16th, but the deadline for submission is Friday, February 13th. Hope to hear from you all before then!
